when sally met dick.,

[12 noon: Sally meets up Tom to give him some notebook, in front of their university gate under the hot sun]

Sally: Hi Tom!
Tom: Hi! Meet my childhood friend Dick.
[Dick's looking at his own feet{as supposed by Sally}]
Dick: (after looking up) *smiles* just smiles(still not looking at Sally's face)
Sally: Hello!
Dick: Hi!(looking over Sally's left shoulder at something/someone behind Sally {may be})
Tom: (to Sally) You've got the notebook?
Sally: Yes. (taking stuff out from the under seat compartment of her two-wheeler)Take the notebook. And these lose sheets too. It has all the information that you would need for today's session.
[Tom going through the papers; Dick still trying to discover/rediscover something from the pitch black road lying lifeless under his feet]
Tom: Its very hot out here.
Sally: It is. I'll take a leave then. Take care of the session today. I might not be able to come.
Tom: Sure.
Sally: Buhbye!
Tom: bye!
Sally: (looks at Dick who's still looking down) Bye Dick!
Dick: Bye!(in a meekER voice; not looking down this time; though still looking at something/someone/somewhere but Sally's face)

[Sally leaves]

writer's block that is.

Writer's block
is a condition, associated with writing as a profession, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work. The condition varies widely in intensity. It can be trivial, a temporary difficulty in dealing with the task in hand. At the other extreme, some "blocked" writers have been unable to work for years on end, and some have even abandoned their careers. more gyan >>
